Shin Sang-Jin is the mayor of Seongnam City, South Korea, elected in 2022. Previously, he served in the Korean National Assembly for four consecutive terms. Prior to this, Sang-Jin was the head of Seongnam City Medical Association and the first president of the Korean Medical Association. A medical doctor, earlier in his career Sang-Jin had a practice in Seongnam City focused on treating the underprivileged.
