Eduardo Porter is a columnist at The Washington Post. Previously, he was a columnist at Bloomberg Opinion. Prior to this, Porter wrote the “Economic Scene” column from 2012 to 2018 at The New York Times, where he was also an editorial board member. Earlier in his career, Porter was a correspondent at The Wall Street Journal and an editor at América Economía business magazine. He began his career as a correspondent based in Tokyo and London for Notimex, a Mexican news agency. Porter is the author of “American Poison” and “The Price of Everything.”
