Carole Saab is CEO of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, Canada’s national municipal association of more than 2,100 member municipalities. An accomplished strategist with over 14 years’ experience in federal and municipal advocacy, she has been a driving force behind watershed achievements for municipalities, securing unprecedented investment and progress for cities and communities. Prior to becoming CEO, Saab was executive director of policy and public affairs for FCM; she was also senior director of policy and government relations and a manager of government and media relations, joining the organization in 2010. Saab is also a senior fellow at the University of Toronto Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, a member of the What Works Cities Certification Standard Committee, a Canadian Climate Institute Advisory Council member, and secretary general for North America at United Cities and Local Governments.
