Sergio Martinez
Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Mobility for Bogotá, Colombia
Sergio Martinez is a civil engineer and senior advisor to the secretary of mobility of the Bogota district in Colombia. He is also a consultant to international entities, including the World Bank, where he is a senior urban transportation consultant, and a former transportation consultant to the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). Martinez has broad experience in engineering and planning projects in the private and public sectors, having worked in the United States, Peru, Guatemala and Colombia. He spent five years as a senior leader at the Secretariat of Mobility of Bogota and was a transportation engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff. Martinez holds master’s degrees in urban and regional planning and in transportation engineering.
