Nadia Calviño has been the President of the European Investment Bank Group since January 2024. She served as First Vice President of Spain and Minister for Economy and Digitalization from 2018 to 2023, and as Chair of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) of the IMF from 2022 to 2023. Before joining the Spanish government, Mrs. Calviño served for 12 years at the European Commission as Deputy Director General for Competition, Deputy Director General for Financial Services, and Director General for the EU Budget.
