Andréa Purnell is the audience development manager at Saint Louis Art Museum. She leads cross-departmental initiatives and engagement strategies to increase and expand the museum’s audience profile. Purnell is also the co-curator of “The Culture: Hip Hop and Contemporary Art in the 21st Century” at SLAM. An actor, writer, director, and stage manager, her honors include the DELUX Magazine Power 100 Award, Grand Center Visionary Award, and Ferguson-Florissant School District Outstanding Alumni Award.
