Carlos Manuel Rodríguez leads Bloomberg's Latin America editorial partnerships. He serves on the editorial board of Bloomberg Businessweek México and is executive producer for El Financiero Bloomberg TV and Bloomberg Línea. Rodríguez joined Bloomberg in 2006 as a New York-based reporter for the Latin American channel. In 2009, he relocated to Mexico as a correspondent, focusing on energy and commodities. He then served as Mexico Bureau Chief from 2013 to 2019. As a seasoned interviewer, Rodríguez has spoken with influential leaders, including Barack Obama, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and Carlos Slim. Before joining Bloomberg, Rodríguez began his career in financial markets in 1998 as a runner at the Chicago Board of Trade and later worked at Univision. Rodríguez is a two-time Emmy award recipient.
