David Holt is the mayor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, U.S.A. A member of the Osage Nation, he is Oklahoma City’s first Native American mayor. In this role, Holt’s achievements include securing a new sports arena and a commitment from the NBA’s Thunder to remain in Oklahoma City for another 30 years. He is also dean of the Oklahoma City University School of Law and will be president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors beginning in 2025. Holt previously served in the Oklahoma Senate and the George W. Bush White House. He was a member of the third class of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative. Holt’s recognition includes being named to Time’s 2023 100 Next list.
