Enrique Acevedo is a journalist and anchor of the newscast “En Punto” for N Más, the news agency of Univision’s Mexican networks. He was previously a correspondent for CBS News, where he was the first Latino correspondent for the “60 Minutes” franchise. Acevedo has been a correspondent on various Univision programs and platforms throughout his journalism career. He interviewed former President Trump in November 2023, covered the 2020 and 2016 U.S. presidential elections, and co-moderated Univision’s Democratic debate in 2016. He has been a member of the News Literacy Project board of directors and a teaching fellow at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics. Huffington Post recognized Acevedo as one of 2013’s Top Young Latinos in American Newsrooms and he was named a Global Media Leader by the World Economic Forum.
