Ernesto Freire is chief of staff and head of operations for philanthropic civic consulting at Bloomberg Associates, overseeing and managing the overall relationship with each city as a day-to-day liaison with mayors and their senior staff. Prior to this, he was chief of staff and senior communications and internal management lead at Bloomberg Associates, responsible for helping clients develop comprehensive communications and operational strategies. Previously, Freire was vice president of external and government affairs at NYC and Company, New York City’s marketing and tourism organization. There, he was responsible for developing public policy and legislative positioning to support tourism growth and representing the organization at the governor’s Tourism Advisory Council, National Tour Association, Latin Media and Entertainment Commission, and the Lower Manhattan Task Force.
