Jessica Lima is the founder of Vecino Calidad. She leads the Vecino de Calidad 164-2021 project promoting waste sorting in Guatemala. Prior to this, Lima interned at Vital Voices Global Partnership in Washington, D.C., and was a content strategy coordinator at Voice political communications agency. Previously, Lima was vice president of the Global Shapers Guatemala City hub, where she led children's education and youth political participation projects. Earlier in her career, Lima founded the Citizen project to increase young Guatemalans’ involvement in politics, participated in Vital Voices’ Ella Impacta program, and represented Guatemala at the 2019 HERLead Forum in New York.
