Jonathan Capehart is the associate editor of The Washington Post. An editorial board member since 2007, he writes about politics and social issues, hosts the podcast “Capehart,” and anchors the weekly Washington Post Live show “First Look.” Capehart is also an MSNBC contributor and the anchor of “The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart.” At PBS, he is a commentator on “PBS NewsHour” and is featured on the segment, “Brooks and Capehart.” Previously, Capehart was a policy advisor to Michael Bloomberg in his campaign for New York City mayor. He was also the national affairs columnist at Bloomberg News and, before that, deputy editorial page editor of the New York Daily News. While there, Capehart received a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing for his editorial series on the mismanagement of the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
