Kelsey Bridges is a transportation planner with the District Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. She works to create safer public spaces that connect with the community, including planning studies, development review, and public space engagement. Bridges also manages the Transportation Alternatives Program and the Color the Curb project, within DDOT’s Arts in the Right-of-Way initiative for tactical safety installations incorporating art near schools. Prior to this, she was a development and zoning consultant in Washington, D.C., and an environmental transportation planner in the Greater Chicago Area.
