Manoella Buffara is a head chef at Restaurante Manu in Curitiba, Brazil. The restaurant ranked 35th on the 2023 Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants list and received the 2023 Flor de Caña Restaurant Award. Buffara also manages the Suryaa Hotel in the Curitiba region and is a partner at Exímia Bar in São Paulo. She leads the Instituto Manu Buffara, which undertakes educational and social inclusion projects and distributes food in the city’s poorest areas. A judge on the sixth season of “The Taste Brasil,” Buffara has held a permanent seat on the Basque Prize jury since 2019. Her recognition includes being ranked 19th at the 2023 Best Chef Awards and being named Best Female Chef in Latin America by The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2022.
