Matteo Lepore is the mayor of Bologna, Italy. Prior to this, he was president of the city’s Metropolitan Tourist Destination Committee. Previously, Lepore was deputy mayor of international relations, city marketing, innovation, smart city and digital agenda and coordinator of Bologna’s executive board of deputy mayors. Earlier in his career, Lepore was a board member of Bologna’s local development agency and head of the local development, innovation and international affairs division at Legacoop Bologna.
