Amir Nizar Zuabi is the artistic director of The Walk Productions. A playwright and director, he is the founding artistic director of ShiberHur Theater Company and an alumnus of the Sundance Institute Theatre Program. Previously, Zuabi was an associate director of the Young Vic Theatre and a member of United Theaters Europe for artistic achievement. His writing and directing credits include I Am Yusuf and This Is My Brother, In the Penal Colony, and Oh My Sweet Land. Zuabi’s directing credits include Samson and Delilah at Flanders Opera, Antwerp; Jidarriya at Edinburgh International Festival, Bouffes du Nord, and on world tour; and Forget Herostratus.
