Ankita Chachra is the knowledge for policy director at Bernard Van Leer Foundation, responsible for early childhood and Urban95 initiatives that support the healthy development of young children and the well-being of caregivers in cities. Previously, she worked on the Global Designing Cities Initiative at the National Association of City Transportation Officials addressing street and public-space challenges. There, Chachra led the Streets for Kids program and Initiative for Global Road Safety projects in Latin American and Asian cities, and helped develop the Global Street Design Guide.
