Antha Williams leads the environment program at Bloomberg Philanthropies, which supports climate and environment initiatives to accelerate the transition from coal to clean energy, improve air quality, advance city and local climate action, protect ocean ecosystems and help unlock sustainable finance. She was a senior advisor for climate, energy and the environment for Michael Bloomberg’s 2020 presidential campaign. Previously, Williams has led philanthropic and advocacy efforts supporting climate action, clean energy and health care and immigration reform. She has also worked as a campaigner and organizer, directing large-scale voter-protection efforts and holding leadership positions in Green Corps. Her current board service includes C40 Cities, Climate Imperative, ClimateWorks Foundation, European Climate Foundation, League of Conservation Voters, Oceana, and Oceans 5.
