Aziza Akhmouch has over 20 years of expertise in sustainable development across the intergovernmental, academic, diplomatic, and civil society sectors. At OECD, she founded and managed the Water Governance Programme as well as the Cities and Urban Policies Division. She guides a diverse, multidisciplinary team in advising national and local governments on creating better urban policies to improve the quality of life using international data and evidence-based analysis. She also champions best practices, knowledge sharing, peer-learning, and capacity building.
