Jaime Pujol is an urban planner in the heritage management department of the city of Santiago, Chile. An architect with a master’s in urban planning, his career since 2004 has been dedicated to urban regeneration and promoting sustainability in cities and neighborhoods in France and Chile. Previously, Pujol led the city of Santiago’s housing department and promoted the creation of the Heritage Neighborhood Revitalization Program, which includes construction of affordable housing in heritage contexts. He has been a consultant in public and private programs and projects. Pujol is also a university professor who has taught a housing policies course and coordinated an urban regeneration diploma, among other work. He was previously a director of the Network of Urban and Territorial Planners of Chile.
