Jaume Collboni has served as the mayor of Barcelona since June 2023. Previously, he held significant positions within the Barcelona City Council: as deputy mayor for business, culture, and innovation from 2016 to 2017, and then as first deputy mayor for economy, labor, competitiveness, and finance from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, Collboni has served as the vice president for social and economic development at the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona and as a member of the Parliament of Catalonia. Collboni has also proven his leadership and expertise at the national level, holding managerial positions within the General Union of Workers and serving as a member of the Economic and Social Council of Spain.
