Jill Sonke, Ph.D., is an artist, cultural strategist, and mixed-methods researcher. She is a U.S. Cultural Policy Fellow with Stanford University, serving in appointments at the National Academy of Medicine and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She is also co-director of the EpiArts Lab, a National Endowment for the Arts Research Lab in partnership with University College London, Director of Research Initiatives in the Center for Arts in Medicine at the University of Florida, and an Affiliated Researcher in the WHO’s Jameel Arts & Health Lab. She served during the pandemic as a senior advisor to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and as Director of National Research and Impact for the One Nation/One Project initiative. She is an affiliated faculty member in the UF School of Theatre & Dance, the Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases, and the Center for African Studies, and an editorial board member of the journal Health Promotion Practice.
