Head of Mexico City’s Digital Agency for Public Innovation
Political scientist, academic and public officer. Founder and current Head of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation of the Government of Mexico City.
He holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE), as well as a Master's degree in Political Science from New York University, where he specialized in political economy and quantitative methodology.
In 2013 he founded Data4, a company dedicated to data generation, analysis and visualization. Likewise, in 2015 he founded Data Civica, a civil society organization that seeks to reduce the gap in the use of data and technologies by organizations dedicated to the defense of Human Rights.
In march 2018, he joined the campaign team of the then candidate and current Mayor of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum.
In december 31, 2018, with the enactment of Mexico City´s Law of Digital Operation, the Digital Agency for Public Innovation is created, of which he assumes its leadership and with it the responsibility to strengthen the agendas of Digitalization, Open Government, Development and Infrastructure, Simplification of Procedures and Services, Connectivity and Information Systems.
