Miguel Angel Santos is a visiting professor in practice at the School of Public Policy at London School of Economics. He is also the director of Harvard University’s Growth Lab. Prior to this, Santos was director of applied research at the Growth Lab, where he led teams in policy engagement to help governments rethink their growth and development strategies. Previously, he was adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a visiting lecturer at University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy, and taught courses in empirical methods, development economics, economic growth and development, and policy development strategy. Earlier in his career, Santos held executive roles in corporate finance and business development in Latin America, including at the Cisneros Group of Companies, Mercantil Servicios Financieros, and Sony Pictures and Entertainment Latin America.
