Okela Douglas-Norgrove has dedicated over two decades to supporting girls and young women globally, spanning roles from grassroots practitioner to managing teams, budgets, and departments. She is a qualified therapist, assessor, and trainer, with expertise in learning mentoring, behaviour management, and restorative justice. As one of three sisters and a mother of two daughters, her personal experiences have profoundly shaped her work. Okela founded Sister System in 2018, and the award-winning organization now supports over 600 girls across London and empowers them to speak their truth to power, thrive, lead, and shape their own futures.
