Sarah Douglas is the founder of Night Club, an award-winning programme tackling the overlooked realities of night work for the millions of people who keep cities running while others sleep. Uniquely bringing together research, creative engagement, and policy design, Night Club improves the health and working conditions of night-shift workers across essential sectors, including healthcare, transport, logistics, and manufacturing. Sarah has led cross-sector collaborations between city leaders, employers, academics, and funders to translate evidence on the impacts of night work into practical action. The programme reframes night work as a critical urban infrastructure issue in 24-hour cities, with significant implications for public health, workforce resilience, and productivity. Sarah is also Co-CEO of The Liminal Space, a design and engagement agency working internationally across health, climate, and the future of work.
