Sascha Haselmayer is a senior leader at Ashoka, a nonprofit promoting social entrepreneurship. Previously, he founded Citymart, which pioneered innovation in city procurement in global cities. Haselmayer has led urban innovation, economic development, and government innovation projects in over 50 countries and advised organizations including the Rockefeller Foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Aspen Institute, World Bank Group, and the government of Chile. An author, his latest book is The Slow Lane: Why Quick Fixes Fail and How to Achieve Real Change. A former New America fellow, Haselmayer is an Ashoka fellow and a Chicago Council on Global Affairs nonresident fellow.
