Tatsuo Igarashi is currently serving his third term as mayor of Tsukuba City, Japan. In 2011, he founded the nonprofit Tsukuba Agri-Challenge and managed its Gokigen Farm social enterprise project, which employs people with disabilities. Prior to his mayorship, he served two terms as a Tsukuba City Councilor from 2004 to 2012.
