Shoshanna Page is senior policy advisor and communications strategist for the mayor of Newark, NJ. She provides guidance, policy expertise, and gap identification to help improve the quality of life for Newark residents. Page also develops policies, communications strategy, and recommendations aligned with the mayor’s strategic priorities and transformation objectives for the city. Prior to this, she managed the coordination and policy portfolio for the New Jersey Urban Mayors Association, where she provided technical assistance, policy analysis, and capacity building for 32 New Jersey mayors. Previously, Page coordinated policy activities for the Women’s Fund of New Jersey, leveraging partnerships among grassroots political and private-sector organizations to increase the number of women leaders shaping public policy.
